Women armpit hair – No more gross!

Being feminine gives us the social responsibility of looking perfect as per the norms set by the people who don’t even know what being a female means. One of those norms talk about being non- hairy all the time. Getting your body hair shaved is a common practice in females all over the world. Oh ! I also like it. And I am not planning to give it up (Due respect to all the revolutions which want females to have & flaunt those hair ). But that is “my choice”.
No one in this world has the right to body shame me because I am not getting my hair waxed. I have the full audacity to wear sleeveless even when my armpit hair are visible. But to our surprise It’s our dear women only who will start giving disgusted look just because you have little grown armpit hair. I myself got comments like ” Why you don’t want to get your underarms waxed? They look gross” And when you want to argue the expressions which you see are out of the world. First & foremost point of argument is hygiene.  If hygiene is maintained only by removing those hair I think science has gone crazy telling us the benefits of body hair. Also when was the last time you heard a man getting body shamed for not letting his hair waxed?

Obviously the point is not just about hair growth, It indicates how we desire to control women & their wants. It goes without saying that it should be just  – “a personal choice”. Please don’t push anyone to think about the society while taking these small decisions of daily life. She wants to remove all the hair or wants to keep every single hair intact is her prerogative.

Many notable women across the globe have left their underarm hair alone and boldly got photographed also like Julia Roberts, Penelope Cruz on a magazine cover, 1950s Italian sex symbol Sophia Loren, Madonna etc.

So,  God gave us those hair & they are on my body so let me decide what to do with them. Don’t judge me for what I got naturally.
